The Thai Massage: Was actually developed by Buddhist monks in Thailand as a healing aid 2,500 years ago. Thai massage uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieving muscle and joint tension and balancing the body’s energy systems. This form of massage is usually performed on the floor, with the person wear comfortable clothes which allow proper movement. No oils are used in Thai massage; the desired result is that the massage leaves you feeling relaxed and energized.
